Openings
We seek highly motivated graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and undergraduate students interested in the interface of machine learning and computational physics to join our group.
Postdoc Openings
No openings at this moment.
I am happy to support AHA postdoctoral fellowship application or postdoctoral fellowships from NSF, NIH, and others.
Graduate Research Assistant (Ph.D. program only)
- Seeking highly motivated Ph.D. students to conduct research in the areas of computational mechanics (CFD, FSI, thermal, etc.), scientific machine learning, data assimilation, model reduction.
- Excellent English communication and writing skills are required.
- The appointment includes full scholarship (stipend, full tuition, healthcare, and others)
For prospective students who are interested, please send your CV to Prof. Wang (jw2837@cornell.edu) for more information.
Master Students (M.Sc and MEng)
We have two master programs in Sibley school of MAE, and I am happy to advise MS/MEng students, who are interested in our research area for their MS thesis. In general, there is no financial support for master students. Please contact Prof. Wang (jw2837@cornell.edu) with your CV to indicate your interest.
Visiting Students
We welcome visiting and exchange graduate students who are interested in the interfaces of machine learning and computational physics. If you are interested, please contact Prof. Wang (jw2837@cornell.edu) for more information.
Undergraduate Research Opportunities
Our group is seeking self-motivated undergraduate research assistants to conduct research in a wide range of fields, including computational fluid dynamics, machine learning, hemodynamic modeling.
If you are interested in our research, please contact Prof. Wang (jwang33@nd.edu) with your CV.
